thanks for clearing this up !

as i tried to preface what i'd heard was not from experience.  it is good to 
knwo these new smartphones have dedicated GPS recievers.  makes them much more 
viable than the old LG phones

On my app run keeper I can get gown to 5m of my location u can put in airplane 
mode and your phone wont work but gps will.
