[pct-l] John Muir's birthplace

I know this is off PCT topic, but saw this thread on Muir's house which I would like to visit in May. I also want to backpack in Scotland. For those who have been there--which of these long distance trails would be the best to hike in Scotland in May--the Southern Upland Way, the Speyside Way, the Great Glen Way or the West Highland Way?
