The Donner Party were thinking shorts and tank tops, then they got hit
by an early storm,it didnt end up well for them. So my answer is,your
fine as long as the weather holds out,or the dryness of your tent and
sleeping bag holds out. I use synthetic long jons(UL) and REI
shorts/pants combo(awesome,and UL). Just my 2 cents,good luck.
