[pct-l] SOCKS

I used ankle high, wool, and polly from REI.  Both types ended up shredded
after about 500 to 700 miles.  I bought some cheapies on trail in Sierra
City, and a few other places, to supplement, but they didn't even last 100
miles.  No blisters at all with any of them.
