Good morning, Joe,

The probability of hearing a consensus recommendation for THE tent from this
disparate group of free-spirits is somewhere between slim and none.  Replies
will allow you to learn the options and, if you wish, subsequently be guided
by the associated logic; or you can just go with one or two opinions that
justify/validate what you’ve already decided to do.

With the framing of your question you automatically eliminate my opinion –
and that of a significant portion of ultra-lite, long-distance hikers –
because I (we) use a simple, lite-weight shelter tarp in lieu of a tent.
