[pct-l] Adjusting after the hike, missing trail life

When people that haven't done a long distance hike ask about the dangers of
thru hiking, they alway think of bears, snakes, snow, and streams. I tell
them that the real danger is the trail itself. Since my first thru I have
not had a single day that I have not thought about the trail.

Currently, I'm suffering a bad case of spring fever..... knowing I won't be
thru hiking this year.

Day hikes and weekend backpack trips are great, but for me they just don't
compare to the long journey.

Just a warning before you take that first step.
