The answer to this may depend on how fast you intend to hike, how
much food you eat, and what kind of pack you use. I use a Gossamer
Gear pack, and the Bearikades aren't really compatible with it, due
to the 90-degree edges. How many days do you expect to take between
Lone Pine and Muir Trail Ranch? How many pounds of food do you eat
per day?
