[pct-l] Bearikade: Weekender or Expedition

I just did the math for one of the numbers you mentioned.
The Expedition is more weight to volume efficient. .041 vs .048 oz per cu in
and 24.3 vs 21 cu in per oz.
This number only matters though if you use all the space. If your weekender
overflows, and you get inspected by a ranger, how much is that ticket worth?
If you aren't filling your Expedition model, you're carrying around excess
weight.
I didn't think this number mattered, but I calculated it too:
Expedition vs Weekender
price per cu in: $0.31 vs $0.35
cu in per $: 3.27 vs 2.89

Not sure this will help. I was pretty set on buying a BV500, but I might
just rent one of these now that someone posted it's only $55 for PCT thru
hikers.
