Hi All,

     I live in Crescent City.  My neighbors woke me about 0500 today to 
tell me there was a tsunami alert. Also could hear the tsunami waring sirens.
     I live outside the tsunami hazard area and am staying high and dry.
     Local Red Cross is running an evacuation shelter at the local high 
school a couple blocks east from here.
     Local radio is reporting tsunami surges at the coast and portions of 
US101 are closed as the road runs along the coast is low.
