Getting it in idyllwild and ditching it in cabazon before he sierras might be smart depending on snow levels and how clear the weaver is...you'd only want it ... At very worst; from paradise cafe to fuller... But cabazon is the nearest place to ditch it ( 4.5 miles off trail)
