Polysporin is a mixture of polymixin B and bacitracin. Neosporin is a mixture of neomycin, bacitracin, and polymixin B. It's the neomycin that's the potential problem -- it was named Allergen of the Year for 2010 by the American Contact Dermatitis Society.
