My husband and I are maintaining the water cache in Swarthout Canyon. We refill it 3-4 times a week and have not found it empty, so it seems to be ok. We presently have 16 gallons in there and plan to add a few more tomorrow since more hikers are coming thru. We only live a 7 minute drive from the cache. Johanna Santore
