[pct-l] Section F Day Hike Questions

I am planning a day hike in the the next week or so, from Jawbone Canyon Road to Kelso Valley Road and have a few questions. I would appreciate any info that anyone can give me with regard to one or more of the following questions.

1. I understand that there is little or no snow north of Piute Mountain Road. Is that true beteween Jawbone Canyon and Piute Mountain Roads?
2. Does anyone know about the current condition of the dirt part of Kelso Valley Road or the part of Jawbone Canyon Road from there to the PCT? I have read that the latter becomes pretty steep; is that likely to be a problem for a 2-wheel drive fairly low clearance vehicle?
3. The Jawbone Canyon Road/PCT intersection is also approachable from the west side via Piute Mountain and Jawbone Canyon Roads. Does anyone know the current conditions of that road?
