Switchback replies: That is an excellent point.   And do not think I did not consider that.  I would abanded everyone if I could, but I understand that the Lone Pine Movie Festival week is going at the same time.  So, there are no rooms available.  I thought it would be good to say I was just going down the mountain to Lone Pine for some more fire wood and never come back.  I would sit in the Dow hot tub thinking of the backpackers up at Horseshoe Meadow freezing in the 10,000 foot air.  Nice.  I would go down the street to the Merry-Go-Round restaurant and have a nice fish dinner with all the trimmings.  In the morning I would go across the street to the Alabama Hills restaurant to have a delicious breakfast after another session in the hot tub.  You should see their homemade pies.  Gigantic!

The only things I am good at are scams, having fun, and goofing off.
