[pct-l] Judge suspends horse packing in national parks (Sequoia-Kings)

It's about time.  There's nothing more damaging to a hiking trail than
horses.  And the horse crap and water pollution present a clear public
health threat.

However, this decision doesn't go far enough.  Pack teams and horses should
be barred entirely, whether private or commercial, at least in hiking trail
areas and their immediate watersheds.  But this decision is a good first
step in the right direction.
