Snowing for some hours now here in Idyllwild, fairly heavy and windy  
and starting to accumulate.  Got off the trail yesterday at Mile 151  
(Hwy 74), but made the mistake of camping during Tuesday night's storm  
(Apr 10-11) on the east shoulder of Comb's peak (Mile 129, elev. 5595  
ft), which had 50 mph winds and hail and snow in the morning --  
another place to watch out for in a storm.  Not a lightweight storm  
then, and much stronger now.  Snow supposed to get down to 4500 ft  
later today.
