[pct-l] Sec D rv parking

I drove hiker Jordan Summers up to Mill Creek Summit two weeks ago so he could cache his resupplies. He also cached at the hardware store in Wrightwood and then I dropped him off at Cajon Pass. I did not see any signs at Mill Creek Summit saying that you could not park. If his dad is in the vehicle and waiting I doubt that there would be a problem.

s dad is in the vehicle
Just to confirm, blue ridge road is not open yet, and probably won't be until may, because of snow. They were still sking there this week end, but sunday was the last day. I was up there last week end. Mill creek is closed to parking and camping because its inside the closed fire zone. No parking on angels national forest highway all the way down to pasadena. No parking, no leaving the road at all. He could meet you there, but not camp. You could also find somewhere in lone pine canyon to park. And in wrightwood. There is a KOA just before the  SAULFY's place,  on Soledad cyn road. And camping on big rock creek.

"On that Section (D) he could also meet you at the start - he could park near the trail at Cajon Pass. Another place would be at Mill Creek Summit. As long as he is self-contained and does not require hookups for his trailer, this would be OK. And free! At the end of Section D, be sure to stop at the Saufley's in Agua Dulce.

At the various road crossings and trail heads along the PCT, it is not unusual to see hiker support people parked and waiting for their hikers. No charge.
