I'm always a bit uneasy when I see alcohol stored in a non-descript
bottle (soda, water, etc) and I don't think a red cap is enough to
represent "NOT WATER".  Some folks mark the bottle up with a nice
fat black magic marker with "FUEL" or if you are artistic a scull
and crossbones.

Whatever you use, make sure that it is as obvious as possible that it
isn't a water container.  Consider that it may be in a stressful
emergency situation that someone *else* is looking for water and you
don't want them to mistake your fuel for water (medical emergency,
fire incident).

The obvious, if not light-weight, option is a red-metalic fuel
bottle typically used to carry white gas.
