Thanks, Barry. That's good to know, but I'm not the original poster. I'll
copy your response to the forum so all can see it. I found Sierra City to be
a very nice town stop, especially the restaurant at the resort 1.4 mile west
of the store.

We have the grocery store in Sierra City, the stop just ahead of beldon. We
will stock and have available anything you need for a great hike...let us
know if you need anything special..we also have a great deli and liquor
store if you are so inclined and Sierra City is very hiker friendly
