ok...this is my first attempt at a section hike ( sobo J ) I'm planning on the 3rd week of aug. and a slow 10 day walk. With not much snow travel experiance, is this a foolish hike with the amount of snow still on the trail? should I buy a snow axe/traction gear? I'm looking for advice and info and I'm open to suggestion. Thanks...Joe
