If a location lacks information it is either because I did not go there or because I failed to note the water conditions when I encountered them, and that is likely to be because there was no water at that site at that time.

F4 583.4 Golden Oaks Spring - Continuous trickle of an eighth of an inch in diameter coming out of white PVC pipe at end of trough. Trough water contaminated and unusable. JUL 13
 
F6 Robin Bird Spring - Good flow of water of about one half of an inch in diameter coming out of buried 4 inch black PVC pipe. The spring's cistern like catch box has openings allowing for penetration by various sized life forms. JUL 16
 
F7 Cottonwood Creek branch -
 
F7 Concrete dam of spring uphill of PCT - Approximately two feet of standing water in dam. Fairly clear water. JUL 16 
 
F7 Landers Creek - Dry. JUL 16
 
F7 Landers Mdw drainage at 1st Paiute Mt Rd xing - Dry. JUL 16
 
F7 Landers Camp fire tank - Robust flow of water fully three quarters of an inch in diameter flowing into tub-like metal catch basin. JUL 17
 
F9 Kelso Valley Road Cache - Approximately twenty five, gallon jugs, and about as many half gallon jugs. JUL 17
 
F9 Butterbredt Canyon Road, SC123 to a spring -
 
F10 Willow Spring -
 
F11 Bird Spring Pass Cache - Close to sixty, gallon jugs, with about fourty five full. JUL 25 
 
F11 Yellow Jacket Spring - 
 
F12 Seasonal stream -
 

F12 McIvers Spring- No water exiting pipe. Evidence of a ground seep which is heavily contaminated by cattle feces. Walked / bushwhacked the 400 yards upstream, possibly further, finding no water. JUL 26
 
F13 Walker Pass Trailhead Campground- No water at CG. Located the three cistern boxes off highway 178. JUL 27
 
Lower cistern is trough-like  (most westerly one) and visible from the dirt road. It had undesireable water in the east end about one to two inches deep for about two feet in length. Otherwise trough is full of mud, moss, rocks, debris, etc. JUL 27
 
Middle cistern is even lower to the ground but deeper. One to two inches of somewhat clearer water with a grass bed and a family of three frogs present. JUL 27
 
Upper cistern  (most easterly one) is waist high and full of cat tails and visible from dirt road. Water was fourty inches deep and relatively clear. Pipe feeding cistern has water trickling out and will fill a quart jug in four minutes. JUL 27

G1 Joshua Tree Spring -
 
G3 Branch of Spanish Needle Creek - Lush vegetation growing in the stream's bed with water flowing steadily. Stream was about one to two inches deep and about eight inches wide. Trail crosses mushy water soaked ground. JUL 30
 
G3 Spring-fed branch of Spanish Needle Creek - Water was coming out of the ground below the trail (NB hiker's left) Small stream of less than an inch in depth and about eight inches wide. Area is heavily shaded by scrub oak and is in a draw. Ground is mostly dirt with sticks filling in the stream's former path across the trail. JUL 30
 
G3 Spring-fed streamlet -Vegetation along stream heavily populated with poison oak. Water is flowing and is one inch deep and eight inches wide. JUL 30 
 
G3 Spanish Needle Creek - Water trickling across the trail with a small pool against rock which is to the NB hiker's left. JUL 30

 
G3 Seasonal Creek -
 
G4 Chimney Crk - Good water about three feet wide and six inches deep on both sides of a rock foot path built across stream. JUL 30
 
G4 Chimney Crk Campgrd - Water off at spigot nearest campsite one. Local AT & T employee "Gregory" reported finding water on at one of the spigots located in one of two of the campground sections located to the east of campsite one. JUL 30
 
G4 Seasonal stream - Dry. JUL 31

G6 Long Valley Loop Rd - Dry. JUL 31
