[pct-l] Ollalie Lake fire

Jane,
Santiam Pass is MP 2008 on the PCT and the fire is 40 trail miles north. Hikers should be able to continue to MP 2040 and then take Whitewater trail out west to Hwy 22. I agree, check with FS for latest.

As far as we can tell PCT hikers will need to road walk from Hwy 126 at Santiam Pass to Hwy 22 turn east on  Hwy 46 to Breitenbush and get back on the trail from there. Call Forest Service at 503-630-6861. Yogi maps at the bigger Hwys to see some of these roads or call the number above.
