But...  Seiad Valley, CA, to Cascade Locks, OR, is 'less' than 500 miles!
'Close', but still less than 500 - so if one is going to 'lie' about it, make sure you pick
appropriate start & end points!!
IMHO, one should NOT abuse the PCTA 500 mile requirement...
Go with what was first stated: "You can easily get by in Oregon without anything"...
