Please speak only for yourself, "raptor" - you do NOT represent the entire pct-l membership! Perhaps Brick
has already previously reminded you to "be polite" in your postings, too?? (I hope so!)

To Dana:
Read the comments/suggestions of Jo Pegrum Hazelett, <http://postholer.com/faq.php#dogs>,
giving good advice regarding many potential problems with your dog - but she unfortunately does NOT mention
the CA state parks & national parks restrictions which many pct-l replies have told you about...
BTW, Dana, many of the pct-l responses have NOT been derogatory - but only passing along some of the harsh
realities of thru-hiking with a dog on the PCT... You might as well be prepared to hear 'comments' when you're
on the trail, too - and hopefully respond in a little less 'defensive' manner(?)...

The only two 'points' from me:
1. Keep your dog under control - best to keep it 'on leash' while on the trail...
2. Your dog's needs should always come before your own(!)...

Good luck!

Happy trails!!!
Jim (PITA)
