Thanks everyone for the feedback. I guess it's easy to see that I am a dinosaur! I have an alcohol pellet stove, which I never use b/c it takes a long time to heat anything at all, but after looking at your replies I checked out how to make my own stove that actually would work. It seems so simple and useful that I'm embarrassed I didn't already know how to do this! Wow, my pack just got a LOT lighter!
