Brian, I absolutely LOVE my Garmin Dakota 20!!!  I did not leave it on
continuously, but checked it whenever I wanted to reassure myself about the
route or pinpoint my location exactly. I used Lithium batteries and one set
lasted me for weeks! It is small and light weight, too. This GPS with
Calif, Oregon Washington Topos and Halfmile's waypoints loaded, along with
halfmile's maps made navigation totally stress free. I always take a
