Greetings,

I have known Halfmile to spend days on side trails on San Jacinto in order to provide alternate routes into Idyllwild. Accurate information. I can also attest to his integrity and decency. The man is driven to provide excellence. There is no question which maps I will use on the sections I hike this year. Halfmile's.

I admire both Scott (postholer) and Erik. I don't mind combative, and Erik has some creative ideas about the delivery of information. I just consider Halfmile's maps to be the best available. By far.

Walk well,
Jim Keener ( J J )
