[pct-l] Best Day Hikes Along the PCT

Trailhacker and I have now hiked the Spitler trail up to Apache Peak  
a couple of times. It's a lovely trail. Has a couple nice creeks, a  
spring and some really lovely trees. You come out right on the crest  
after about 4 miles of uphill and you can look over into the desert  
by Palm Springs and beyond. The trail's in great shape, too.
