If nothing else once the 'hiking season' arrives there will be the 'Frog' closure in section D ("Endangered Species Detour")...
On the PCTA home page, <http://pcta.org/>, the top link on the left sidebar is "Trail Closure Information"...

For 'reports' from the trail click on the "Trail Conditions" link in the right sidebar - though some reports should be taken 
with a 'grain of salt' due to the reporter's hiking experience and/or personal opinion(s)...   ;-/
One can also call toll-free 888-PC-TRAIL (888-728-7245) for trail conditions...
