That actually doesn't sound bad... And (for me) those aren't really "hard" miles. Nice rolling hills.

True,  Pioneer Mail to Scissors Crossing is 24 miles. That would set
you up for Scissors Crossing to Barrel Spring [also 24 miles] the
following year.
