[pct-l] Southern and Central Oregon Snowpack

Hello All,

I was wondering if anybody has hiked Southern and Central Oregon recently
this season.  My plan is to leave from the California border later this
week and hike to Manning Park, arriving there about the first of September.
  I figure the snow near Crater Lake and the Sisters are going to be the
most challenging of my trip.  Any idea what the snowpack is like in that
area this year?   Should I bring an ice ax?
