[pct-l] Transport from Portland to Cascade Locks

Hi David.

 If you can't make it earlier but you can make it a day later I will be back in town (Portland) on the 2nd and could help you out then. Other then that the only option is to try to hitch. As I don't know which way you are coming into Portland from but if you are arriving via the Bend bus it stops in Government Camp and you could reach the PCT from there and start your hike with a wonderful Oregon section. That will add a couple of days to your trip but well worth it. You could also get the bus to bend from Portland and start fromTimberline. Yes there is a trail from Government camp to Timberline. Just some food for thought.
