[pct-l] Need planning advice

My name is Brian and I plan on hiking the PCT in 2014. I have got halfmiles
maps and the three schaffer books. On top of that I am watching as many
videos as I can. But when I sit down to start doing.the planning I get
overwhelmed. Where should I start with the planning? I was hoping someone
on here could help me out and let me know step by step how they planned it?
I appreciate any response. First day on here
