[pct-l] Mt St Helens Recovery

While watching the slideshow there's a lake that suddently appears (top, just left of center).  In '79 photo there's no lake, then '81 phote there's a small lake, then all the other years there's the valley-filling lake (Coldwater Lake).

In 1977 we hiked past a simple, plain volcanic cone similar to many others we had passed and paid a lot more attention to spectacular Mt Adams with its glacier coming down the middle looking like it is cutting the mountain in two. Little did we know that our lack of photos of St Helens, pre-eruption would haunt us.
