WA. SNOW REPORT FOR THE PCT HIKERS

Cascade Locks to White Pass........
Mt. Adams is 90% snow bound as of July 18th melting fast but still lots of
snow.
Goat Rocks has plenty of snow. Some in the traverses could be difficult
without warm weather to soften the snow.
White Pass to Chinook Pass........ 95% covered in snow.
Chinook Pass to Snoqualmie Pass Almost completely clear. A little snow
right before getting into Snoqualmie Pass.
Snoqualmie Pass to Stevens Pass........
High and North facing areas are still filled with snow. About 50/50 snow
and dry trail through here. Navigation much easier than Adams, Goat Rocks
and Rainier areas.
This report came from Mouse. He and one other are the first NOBO. Actually
the first hikers of the season to stop here.
