[pct-l] Section I for Labor Day, Whites Pass to Snoqualmie Pass

Like several other recent posters, section I figures in my plans... it's the
biggest missing piece in my PCT puzzle - http://pcnst.oakapple.net/future/
If I am ever going to finish, it better be soon before I get even more
decrepit.    I'm aiming for hiking in the window around Labor Day,
29 Aug - 6 Sep.     I'm hoping to be after the snow and mosquitos, 
and before the fire season in this area, and if really lucky, after some
of the blowdown has been removed.
I don't think the main wave of through hikers will have arrived yet.

Fortunately, this section can in theory be accomplished entirely by day
hikes, and perhaps more conveniently with two-day backpack trips here
and there.      Either way means taxis, car shuttles, or car key exchanges.

I have never heard of taxi services from nearby metropolises like Packwood
but I would appreciate hearing otherwise.    Actually the one time I drove
through Packwood there was some kind of festival going on and there was
a lot of slow traffic.

Aside from that, anybody who wants to do parts of the same section at the same time
and would like to discuss possible car shuttle coordination, please let
me know by direct email.    I try to keep up with pct-l postings but 
it's getting harder and harder.
