[pct-l] Cost of a SAR airlift

As a middle class taxpayer I am happy to pay for all you guys' rescue  
helicopters with my tax money. I would rather NOT pay for bank  
bailouts and oil and agricultural subsidies. I would rather see  
everybody in the US happily hiking the PCT rather than cruising to  
the mall, eating cheezy-poofs and 32 oz. cups full of high fructose  
corn syrup. I realize that's your choice, but it's a stupid one I'd  
rather not subsidize even though I have no choice in the matter.
