[pct-l] PCT Web Cams

Hello all!

I'm sitting here with my fractured calcaneus daydreaming of hiking while I browse through the various live web cams of the PCT.   I wanted to share my favorite webcam that's not listed on planyourhike.com and that's from the vantage point of Hume Lake in the Sequoia National forest.


There is a USGS campground that I've been going to since I was a child and it turns out as you look out and over the dam you are looking into the high country of Sequoia National Park.  It gives you an idea of how much snow (or lack thereof this year) in this area.  The PCT is just over the ridge of the furthest mountain in the webcam image.  My favorite thing is to kayak out to the middle of this lake and just enjoy the beautiful view of the high country.
