Good morning, All,

For all you “topo-geeks” out there, I came across a site called *Old Maps
Online*:
http://www.oldmapsonline.org/#bbox=-110.001954,-51.984598,119.919921,71.999511&q=&datefrom=1000&dateto=2010

It allows drilling down on a region of the world, while a menu of
historical maps is displayed in the margin. Once selected, the old maps
can be viewed on-line.

I looked at an 1850’s map of Oregon and was pleased to see that the area
between Mt. Hood and the Columbia River was, at that time, labeled
“unexplored”.
