I'm planning my 2013 Thru-hike and am wondering if I need travel insurance? I've read that some hikers purchase it, or have purchased it for hikes that happened many years ago. I don't have regular health insurance but do have AFLAC. If I do need to purchase some, can anyone recommend a company I should go with? Thanks!!
