Well put.....I discovered this while standing in an interminable line at 
fire camp waiting to call my boyfriend using my precious few hours of 
rest time while working for 3 weeks at a wildfire in Oregon. Did I miss 
him enough to stand there every day for hours? No......yet my feelings 
for him were unchanged by the experience. This was a liberating moment.
