[pct-l] Hearing and PCT Hiker

One day our intrepid PCT hero andtrailtown mischief maker, PCT Unsupported, was reading the Saturday morning newspaperat his cabin.
 
He notices anannouncement about a revival meeting that night at the local park.  He isgetting along in years and decides to go and get some religion.  Hefigures that you always can use a little extraterrestrial help.
 
At the Saturday night tentrevival  the preacher announces, "Anyone with needs to be prayedover, come forward to the front at the altar." 
 
PCT Unsupported gets in line and whenit's his turn, the preacher asks, "What do you want me to pray about foryou old timer?"
 
PCT Unsupported replies: "Preacher, I need you to pray for help with myhearing." 
 
The preacher puts one fingerin Unsupported's ear and he places the other hand on top of his head andprays and prays and prays.  In fact, he loudly prays a blue streak for ourhero. 
  
After a few minutes of this, thePreacher removes his hands, stands back and asks, "Partner howis your hearing now?" 
 
Unsupported replies, "I don't know, Reverend, it ain't 'til next Wednesday."
