Thanks, Shroomer. Yes, that's Billy Goat. I have a few more good ones of him that I'll add at some point....

I hope your CDT hike was awesome. Might run into you in late Oct or November.

Yeah, what she said! They're beautiful Weathercarrot, and is that Billy Goat's backside going down the trail?

Thanks for the kind words, but that's one of the more interesting messages I've ever received. This was my first ever long hike

with a digital camera (or any relatively decent camera) and it was fun to have the artistic experience with photos that I've

always dreamt of. But "incredibly gifted photographer" is a bit much. I don't really know what I'm doing. I just took several

thousand, picked the best and played with them in photoshop (which I really don't know how to use).... I guess the trick to

good photos is to take LOTS and try to get good timing with lighting (morning/evening). And fun cropping. Thanks again,

This is absolutely THE most artistic collection of photos I have ever seen! You could definitely work for National Geographic or something far more prestigious than this web site! Even the rattle snake was artistically captured. You are an incredibly gifted photographer!

HEY PCT grab this guy for a Kickoff slideshow or something!

Amazing!

Hi -

I just posted some of my PCT 2012 photos onto the web. These are a small selection between the San Jacinto range, CA and Santiam Pass, OR. Much more will be added in the next month.

Enjoy!
