[pct-l] Tent Advice

Oz-

I ordered a SoLong 6 from Judy this summer and couldn't be happier with it.
It's got tons of room, enough so that my girlfriend and I can both sleep
in it comfortably, and I'm 6'7". And the tent weighs in right at 2 lbs
after I seam sealed it myself and with titanium stakes. It also has two
doors and the extra fabric for the awning on one side. Extra 5.5 oz for a
tyvek ground sheet. Basically its about the lightest fully enclosed shelter
that is affordable. If you are't super tall the Solo is basically the same
tent with pointy ends, but they are about the same weight and the 8"
bathtub floor really increases the amount of usable space.

My experience with Judy was one of the most pleasurable customer service
experiences I've ever had. She even offered me one of her display
models for a considerable discount. She's always making tweaks and
adjustments to make her tents better and is more that happy to work with
you on customizing. Also, the awning is super awesome and if you get a LHG
tent, its worth the extra money. Allows you to have a sweet view out your
tent even while it is pouring down rain.

Really wish I had had this tent on the AT in 2010 and am really looking
forward to using next year on the PCT.
