As someone who quit their job 2 years ago to go back to school (and travel AND take care of my disability) I would say NO.

Depending on your career of course :) if you are in high demand sure, if not I wouldn't do it again (make sure of this!!!)

I had PLENTY of savings (almost whole salary worth) and am now broke even though I worked part-time for 8 months.
My health condition ended up being more than just a PT injury. I needed neurosurgery BEFORE I quit.
Then after I had MAJOR dental issues... (6k range)

My car broke down (thousands).. Oh hubby couldn't take disability wanted out. So that...

I've been looking for a job since Nov, NOTHING has turned into a good offer, even near the range of what I made or can live on.
And my career is in high demand.

I hope I'm not too honest here. Just be careful.
Think about the money you would need worst case, what could happen, and how long you could live with your parents! (luckily I'm almost done with school and have an awesome bff)

Good luck!

Keep in mind your age will have a huge effect on how fast you can recover.
Along with the severity if the injury, and even your diet! It's ultimately
up to you, just a fee points to consider. Also if you ate going to a
physical therapist ask them about active recovery, our just google it for
yourself. Might help. Good luck!
