[pct-l] Post walk across America. The PCT Next?

Activism on the trail wouldn't last very long. It just doesn't fit.  
The trail kicks your butt and your whole life becomes hiking, eating,  
sleeping and pooping, plus thinking about your feet. There are lots  
of hours to think all the thoughts you don't want to think about and  
no time at all to think through the problems you wanted to think  
about. You kind of both fall to the bottom of Maslow's Hierarchy and  
rise to the tippy top at the same time. Anything else no longer seems  
relevant anymore. It all seems to belong to that other world where  
people drive cars, sleep in buildings and are terribly unhappy.
