Hello all, on the subject of rain jackets, I have been getting involved with long distance cycling ( don't freak..road travel only ), and the Adventure Cycling Association (adventurecycling.org) has some basic camping gear, one of which is a waterproof breathable jacket at 5 ounces. Cost is around $35. It's called the Rainshield 02 Jacket.
