I have it on good authority from a local PCT hiker named Evil Goat, that resides in Anza, and who does training hikes to the four points of the compass in the area/region, advising; there’s a dirt road that curls around Mt. San Jacinto, starting somewhere near Paradise Highway... on the southeastern flank, and continuing around the big mountain mating up with the PCT in due time/order. It’s not a path following the crest, but get’s the job done at a much lower elevation. Hey! That’s all I got. You? Add to the fray and lead us not into temptation.
