Melvin of MELVIN'S ON FIR STREET in SISTERS, OR. is happily offering all
thru-hikers a 10% DISCOUNT on all store items for just coming in and telling
him a good hiking story.

He loves talking to hikers!!

 

Primarily a health food store, Melvin's is a COMPLETE GROCERY STORE
including a deli with awesome sandwiches and hearty soups, and salads.  He
has a good selection of bars/chocolate for the trail, produce, fruit, fresh
baked breads,  and beer. 

 

It's located midway thru town one block south of the highway on..duh..Fir
Street.  Ask anyone in town and they can give you directions.

 

There is a PCT sign-in book in the store also.  Oh yeah, there's a wine
store inside Melvin's also.

 

Sisters residents are pretty generous about taking hikers back to the trail.
BTW, there's a hiker box in the post office.
