[pct-l] "Wild" (1000+ thru-hikers at kick-off?)

I'm not sure how it affects the overall numbers, but the 2600 miler list is for those who are finishing the trail. This may mean they did a thru-hike or just did their last section after 20 years.  I'm not sure if it's an accurate portrayal of how many intended thru-hikers leave from Campo.
